Olive oil Fresh parsley, cilantro or basil chopped for garnish Directions: Pour rice into the instant pot and add enough water to cover the rice. Swirl the water with your hand until the water looks milky. Pour the water out through a strainer and repeat another time. On the last rinse, drain all the water out. Add the chicken broth or other liquid to the instant pot and add the oil and salt if desired. Stir. Swirl the pan to make sure the rice is laying flat on the bottom of the pan and the water completely covers all of the rice. Place the pan in the instant pot, add the cover and make sure the vent is on seal. Set the timer to pressure cook for 6 minutes on high. When the 6 minutes is up, allow the instant pot to do a natural release for 10 or 11 minutes. Be sure to then release all the pressure before opening the instant pot.
