This comes after Brussels decided to move forward with a plan to slap tariffs on Chinese Electric Vehicles (EVs). The bloc has been raising complaints about the "oversupply" of Chinese EVs. The import tariffs were supposed to contain it. According to Bloomberg, China is the EU’s biggest overseas market for pork. The EU's pork trade with China was worth $1.83 billion last year. Sellers in Spain, Denmark and the Netherlands are said to be the biggest beneficiaries of this trade.
