You have to work out what units are good or what units you want to play because they look cool, but inevitably you will end up losing because your opponent brought a "better" list or is a "better" player or you're just "bad at the game and need to stop bringing nothing but centurions". Why not take the most time consuming, agonizing part of the warhammer hobby - list building(something which absolutely no-one likes) - and leave it up to change to decide what army you will use? Random chance has never cause issues and annoyance in a dice-based wargame! What could POSSIBLY go wrong?! In this video, with the help of a terrible python script I made that still requires manual intervention whenever a new points update drops, I will explore the idea of randomized lists in Warhammer 40k, and what kind of lists, unit combos and army/detachment rule combinations you can make when fate decides what you play!
