Chill Vs. No Chill Experiment - Sabro LUPOMAX Triangle Test

We set up a Chill versus No Chill experiment with two Sabro LUPOMAX SMaSH and then conducted a triangle test to see if we could tell the difference. John has wanted to put the "no chill" method to the test in a late hopped beer to see if we could pick out differences in the flavor/aroma profile. John used some super intense SABRO LUPOMAX hops in his beers. Both versions of beer had incredible hop aroma and flavor from the Sabro hops. Differences between the two beers were subtle at best and if not presented as a side by side, it would be indistinguishable. What this says to us is that no chill techniques seem to still support hop forward new age hopped beers. When dry hopping in the fermentor, any issues created in the kettle may very well be masked.
