Performance is handled by the Tensor G2, with 8GB RAM, while the 90Hz OLED screen is another FHD panel with HDR10 support. However, the Pixel 7a sports a different camera sensor (IMX787) vs the 7 and 7 Pro, which use an Octa PD Quad Bayer setup instead. All the same, photo quality is similar until the lighting is more ambient, while Google's phones all deliver 4K 60FPS video recording. Gamers will enjoy a smooth (ish) frame rate on Genshin Impact, along with the Game Dashboard feature. It's stock Android 13 on all three smartphones, with years of OS and security updates lined up. Battery life is thankfully good on all three too. The Pixel 7a struggled for the first week, but since then it's been more dependable, with over six hours of screen on time per charge.
