We are excited to share the incredible journey of 60 forestry and environmental science students from Dhaka North and South City Corporations and the National Botanical Garden who participated in the Tree Census through USAID's Compass program. 🌳 Watch this inspiring video that highlights the story of a student who began as an enumerator with Compass and how this experience became a catalyst for her professional and academic pursuits. The video beautifully captures Compass's commitment to strengthening the academic and research sector in Natural Resource Management. Moreover, the USAID’s Compass program introduced i-Tree, a global suite of tools developed by the USDA Forest Service, in Bangladesh. 🌐 Over 70 students and young professionals from 10+ academic and research institutions received hands-on training. The focus? Conducting urban tree inventories and census activities in Dhaka city to assess the incredible benefits of urban trees.
