Because Watamu is our favorite location on the Kenyan Coast, this is where we decided to take our family who came all the way from Canada to relax a little and enjoy some beach time after their safari adventure! But of course, we couldn't bring them to some random beach resort! We took them to Watamu's best beach villa. Welcome to Zuri by Tribalsand. This luxury beach villa has 6 bedrooms and can sleep up to 14 people. It has 2 living rooms, a beautiful dinning room and more outdoor space that you could ever dream of. We had 3 kids with us and if you ask them, their favorite part was definitely the massive pool and beach access because yes, the Zuri Villa is beachfront! Up first, we took them for the best pizza of their life at Sunset Beach Restaurant. This place crafts authentic Italian pizzas and there are not other place like it. Yes, we have been to Italy and had pizza there but we stand by what we say when we state that Sunset Beach Watamu has the best pizza in the world. It all started with dolphin sighting before heading to a private beach and ending the morning with some snorkeling where I saw my first stingray in Kenya. From there, we headed for lunch at Rock and Sea where we had some delicious handmade pasta and seafood before going back on the Pepo Huru dhow for a beautiful sunset cruise on Mida Creek.
