This famous scenic route is about a couple of beautiful towns, several famous golf courses and a very popular scenic road. It starts from Monterey and ends at Carmel-by-the-Sea through the famous 17 Miles Drive. For people who plans to drive along the California 1 to Big Sur or even further down south, this is the route you must experience before you hit California 1. If you like golfing, there are several famous golf courses such as Pebble Beach Golf Links and Cypress Point Club are along the route. The route ends at Carmel Sunset Beach, not very long but a beautiful white sand beach.
