At this point in the story, we’ve seen Superman soar through the sky for the first time as he starts his rivalry with Lex Luthor. We’ve also seen how Batman handles having a Robin with a temper and how Wonder Woman shows her compassion while also being a ferocious warrior. So what else are we missing before they all come together in a Justice League movie? Well, we need the Flash. For us to really capture what we’re looking for with this film, we’ll need to decide where in the timeline this movie falls. Looking back on DC Prime, the order of releases hasn’t been in chronological order. While you can go back and look at when these videos were released, let me break down our in-universe timeline. The technical beginning of this universe will be this movie actually, The Flash: Year One. Without any references to anything happening in DC Prime during this film, it stands on its own as a good jumping off point. From there, Batman: Dying City would take place. However, the post credits scene of that movie saw Batman watching the same news broadcast as Lex Luthor, discussing the battle between Superman and ex-podcast host Livewire. That would therefore put Dying City and Superman: Genesis taking place at the same time as one another. After this, the events of Wonder Woman: Battle of the Gods occur.
