But that's how it goes sometimes, life is what happens while we are busy making plans. late spring can be an interesting time to try and catch largemouth bass. We were pushed through the spawn really fast on this reservoir, conditions had been weird, with several weeks of really hot dry weather the spawn had begun in earnest. and a handful of heavy cold fronts had turned them off as fast as they had got going. everyone was throwing topwater. And truthfully I didn't see very many people having much luck so I tied on my favorite, a jig. and after a slow start I figured out about where they were staging and was able to put several in the kayak. summer is almost here and I'm excited for all the warm weather. thanks everyone.
