How to Make a PLOUGH POINT Tarp Shelter

👉K.I.S.S: Keep it simple stupid Where possible, l like to keep it simple when wild camping. The plough point tarp shelter definitely fits the bill. It requires minimal gear and time; ideal for no-hassle adventuring and also when the weather is on the turn. This video demonstrates a basic version of the plough point. If you have more time, you could pull out the back of the tarp with additional paracord and then tie that off to a tree. This makes it even more roomier inside As mentioned in the video, you can also use extra pegs to secure the plough point more, especially in colder or windy conditions. The height can be adjusted according to weather and personal preference. Note: the remaining hanging paracord - hanging from the bowline knot - was wound around the tree and tucked in so it was out the way and also does allow water to drip down.
