Down Memory Lane Interurban Tram footage 1950-51 Vancouver BC

Rare Vintage color footage narrated in 1990. Video footage of the Interurban Tram in Vancouver, Burnaby and New Westminster BC from the 1950's. I am not the narrator in this video. In the late '90's I was a member of a small crew who first worked on the restoration of car number 1220 in Steveston BC. We basically stripped it apart, removed the interior, reconstructed the bulkhead and replaced the end caps and rebuilt the entire roof. I personally disassembled the window frames and used them as a template to recreate the new ones so they would be as close as possible to the originals. It was a shame that our contract ended and we weren't able to finish the job. It was a lot of fun and educational working on that tram car especially talking with the old members of the society, some who were former employees of the tram itself, who liked to drop by and check out our handy work.
