-As was the case with the "Crosswits" partial I uploaded the other day this is a rare "lost" game show (only five episodes of "Password's" 1971-75 run on ABC are available to collectors; the bulk was erased) that has made the rounds with collectors and because of recopying on VHS in the 90s some have worse versions than others, and the one that's been on YT falls in that category. So for the benefit of those who have only seen the version that's been on YT, here's one with improved picture and sound (though I will admit it's not totally pristine). -Vicki Lawrence and Betty White are the guests as "Password" finishes it's third week after dumping the not-well received "Password All Stars" format, though they retained the All-Stars format of complex qualifying rounds before playing a main game. This version of "Password" aired it's last episode on June 27, 1975 with the next incarnation, "Password Plus" debuting in January 1979 on NBC. -Mark Goodson cameos at the end of the program to promote Betty White hosting the show soon.
