Here is how I used my Makita 18v power tool battery in my dirt bike to power a 6" LED light bar and tail light! Including a How To! Are you looking to add some lights to your bike without doing a stator upgrade?! Here is a method we have been using on our bikes for a while now in order to get them legal for our trail system, and enjoy some night riding. All the bikes riding in the back country here are required to have a headlight and tail light. Now you can go super ghetto and tie strap a flashlight to your fender. OR you can wire up a legit light bar that you can use to actually ride in the dark! Yes if you have not tried out night riding, its another world of fun! And with this setup we have 18v of power running a 6" LED light bar to provide tons of usable light while riding. Wether you need it to ride your trails, or just incase you run into some problems in the back country and need to get back to camp in the dark. This video features a HOW TO in the second portion in order to modify a drill plate to mount under your seat, as well as a look at how I mounted the light to my handle bars and a peek at the DRC Phantom led tail light. Which by the way is a great light to mount on your rear fender.
