#mangaloretobidar #ganeshtravels #ash2travel Another requested bus journey from Mangalore to Bidar finally completed. Finally my first bus journey with Ganesh Travels. I must say firstly the crew was very supportive of me doing the bus vlog. They invited me for tea & dinner & made sure I was taken care of. Ganesh Travels is a big operator of Mangalore & doing so many bus journeys in Mangalore, I finally got to do one by Ganesh. Mangalore to Bidar is a good route as you get to see the beautiful coastal roads of Mangalore & Udupi and then proceed towards Bidar. This journey reminded me of my Mangalore to Mumbai bus journeys. The morning views of North East Karnataka was good as well. Many Mumbai - Gulbarga buses passed us in the morning time. This journey is a long journey that starts from Hampankatta in Mangalore. The bus arrives at 2:15 pm & then with pickups on the way will proceed accordingly. The scheduled time to reach Bidar was 9:15 am and we reached 9:10 am, just 5 mins late. The bus was doing good speeds most of the time. Infact we halted quite a few times for loo breaks & tea breaks & still were able to reach on time. This bus is built by Damodar Coach & refurbished by Sahara Coach. This bus is a seater/sleeper bus. One should avoid the first seat as its very cramped & sitting like that for long journeys is not advisable. This bus route is quite scenic thanks to the beautiful coastal route. This bus goes to Hubballi where it gets more passengers and luggage accordingly. The bus driving in Yellapur ghat was really good. They had great control & drove aggressively as well.
