Promoting innovation & mental health for STEM | Axel de Vernou | TEDxSacredHeartSchoolsAtherton

While scientists have been very present in the news lately tackling the issues that our world is facing, we often forget about the stressful path which they had to take to get there. In this talk, I will be discussing how we can reshape our STEM curricula for students interested in pursuing math and science related fields in a way that promotes mental balance and creativity. I am a high school senior. While my main passions are writing and reading, I enjoy studying a variety of subjects through an interdisciplinary lens, which is what inspired me to create a TedTalk focused on the intersection between STEM and mental health. I believe that our society can make great progress when people of different interests share their ideas in ways that inspire reflection and discourse.
