After some research discovered that they are made from pizza oven bricks. I was a bit sceptical and so decided to make my own. The process was simple enough and it actually works. Glad I did not buy from the USA as with the import duty to the UK it is simply not worth it in my opinion. I actually prefer a Trangia Alcohol Stove but that is just my opinion.
