Barbados Gets Thick Ash From St. Vincent’s Volcanic Eruption

Researchers at the University of the West Indies warn residents of Barbados that they’ll likely see ash from La Soufriere’s volcanic eruption for weeks to come. The volcano, located in St. Vincent, which is nearly 120 miles away from Barbados, began erupting late last week after laying dormant for 42 years.
