I find the notion of tacky vs. dry a pretty inadequate way of describing grips and overgrips, and the lack of detailed description and language that discusses them very frustrating. This is why I use words like responsiveness and texture when discussing these things - hopefully with adequate analogies and close ups. At the end of the day I'm trying to make the kinds of videos that I don't find onilne and ones I would like to watch. I'm willing to bet my playing arm that I've taken my experiments with grips much further than most (other than very sensitive pro players).
