Together. That's how we achieve, and that's how we celebrate. Working together, the Tierra del Sol Foundation has empowered individuals with disabilities to become active, valued, productive community members. We have proven the profound truth that each human being, regardless of the notion of disability, possesses the ability and desire to belong, and to contribute to society's economic, civic and cultural advancement. Together, we celebrate along with the thousands of people and hundreds of ways our community has benefited from the contributions of people assisted by Tierra del Sol. We celebrate: Partnership: We're celebrating the fact that Tierra has created service partnerships with 144 important public and nonprofit organizations. In each organization are numerous volunteers who believe in service to others above self. Among the volunteers are individuals with disabilities who are served by Tierra. Achievement: We're celebrating the achievements of these volunteers who overcome their own personal challenges to be of service to others. We're celebrating the fact that our clients serve the missions of such diverse organizations as MEND, ONE Generation, and the Child Development Institute, along with scores of other organizations serving our community's most fragile citizens, from animal shelters to food banks and senior nutrition programs. Community: We're celebrating the realization of Tierra's vision that, together, we are creating a society in which we all benefit by embracing the contributions of all of our members. Take a moment to celebrate with us by watching our cause in action through the works of Meagan and Nuvia as they volunteer at MEND and the Child Development Institute.
