INSANE 3-WAY BATTLE FOR P2! ASRA NJMP MW SB 6/29/24.

Long Summary Incoming, this was one for the ages! Coming into the second race of the weekend I knew I had the pace to fight for the Top 3 positions. Having done a lot of launch practice in the pits I was KILLING everyone off of every start and getting the hole shot. Unfortunately, Walter would eventually pass me and sail away to P1 (he’s now an expert lol). That left Me, RJ, and Chris and we were all HUNGRY! Chris and I ended up colliding into 11B because RJ missed a shift and I had to chop the throttle. He ended up losing his knee puck which is why you’ll see him looking at his knee. I knew the entire race I had the corner and exit speed to get around RJ but I was timid in my attempts. I ended up sitting behind RJ until the very last lap ( This was unknown to me as I missed the White flag focusing on RJ, which was my mistake.) where I would pass him very closely on the outside of 2 to 3a. I pushed until he passed me into 7 on the brakes because I left the door open (didn't see a white flag). I would chase him to the end where eventually I’d redline 5th gear and get passed by Chris about 6 inches before the finish line! He ended up securing the last place on the podium (3rd) by just .003 seconds! Yes, 3 thousandths of a second. HE 100% deserved it but I should’ve been aware of the checkered flag before seeing it and I should've shifted! All in all, it was the most intense race I've had so far, and will still take 4th place even though I should've been on the podium if not 2nd! GG’s to the other racers! Also, I was running 87 instead of 93, probably made 0 difference LOL!
