Porsche Cayenne 3.2 V6 2004, model 955. P0335 and P0336 with faulty crankshaft sensor. The car has sudden stall quite often, then crank and no start-issue. There is intermitting crankshaft sensor fault with old sensor. Noitice green signal missing when engine shuts down. The missing tooth-signal is correct here. Both channels are vice versa. Observe this if you change new crankshaft sensor and car doesn't start anymore (error P0336)! Then missing tooth-signals are same way! As a fix, find sensor with correct wiring (there are different types, not all sensors are interchangeable even they insist) or change wires 2-3 at the connector. This fault is same with Cayenne, Touareg and Q7, also with other manufacturers.
