In this video we film a few marbles collections from the Marble Universe radio podcast team and friends. Seasoned Connecticut marbles curator David Lenz walks us through his 1800’s Antique German swirls, showing Onionskins, Blizzards, Micas, Lobed, Lutz marbles and more. Next we take a close look at David’s machine-made Christensens and Peltier marbles. He identifies and describes rare Peltiers including Blue Tiger, Chocolate Cow, Panther, Ruby Bee and other hard to find examples. We film his exquisite Christensen Agate favorites and look at Blue Ray, Cobras, Cyclones, Guineas, Striped Opaques,Striped Transparents and others. Marbles Superhero Mar Ble Aven Ger presents his favorite Christensen Guineas and Akro Popeyes, Alley Chalkies, Tater-bug and other Machine-made marble examples. Aven Ger displays and describes a very unusual Vitro Agate Spiderman head object that was intended to be used in a failed attempt in producing Sulphide marbles. He then shows a scarce example of a “California Sulphide” repro German Sulphide marble. Marble Universe Cohost Dick Belmont displays some stunning contemporary handmade swirl marbles from Sammy Hogue, Steve Davis and Ben Michael. We also take a look at the vintage 1930’s-40’s Wolverine Tin Litho marbles shooter “Spot Shot” target game.
