Behind-the-scenes as Xiu Xiu plays the music of David Lynch's Twin Peaks

The music of television series Twin Peaks by composer Angelo Badalamenti and David Lynch was reimagined by Xiu Xiu in this special project commissioned for the exhibition 'David Lynch: Between Two Worlds' at the Gallery of Modern Art, Australia. Led by Jamie Stewart, Angela Seo and Shayna Dunkelman, Xiu Xiu’s performance provided an entirely new interpretation of the music, one emphasising its chaos and drama. In 2015 the Australian Cinémathèque, GOMA commissioned Xiu Xiu to reinterpret the music of TV series 'Twin Peaks'. Compositions and songs by composer Angelo Badalamenti and David Lynch were given a startling makeover and presented in two sell-out performances.
