Tonight, the 2024 Canadian eMotorsports Network NASCAR Series powered by Kyle's Fried Chicken and BBQ season on iRacing returns to action with round 10 of 22, the Kyle's Fried Chicken and BBQ 175 at Iowa Speedway in Newton, Iowa! Last week, on May 14, veteran Andy Hertel finally got his long-awaited first career win in one of the series' most prestigious races, the Piping Kettle 300, at Charlotte Motor Speedway. In his 65th career start, his pit strategy was the best of everyone as he went 35+ laps on fuel and made it to the checkered flag before running out after crossing the line. Tonight, the series returns to Iowa Speedway for the first time since 2022. The 175-mile, 175-lap race at the 7/8-mile (1.4 km) D-shaped short track oval has been previously hosted twice in CEMSN NASCAR Series history. Both races were during the console era. Darcy Ford (2021) and Ty Higginbotham (2022) were the winners. Interestingly, both drivers went on to win the championship the same year they won at Iowa. Could we see the streak go to three in tonight's first-ever race at the iRacing version of Iowa? Drivers anticipate an extremely loose setup, especially on fresh tires, and intense restarts. We'll find out if the speculations are correct beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET, 8:30 p.m. AT! 22 drivers, 22 tracks, four circuit types, one champion.
