CKC Rally Obedience Trial Novice June 18 & 20, 2010 Two Qing runs-one perfect score!

Here is footage of two runs by a novice schnauzer who is ready for trial. Many dogs are not. Watch the amazing teamwork between the human and the dog. The owner has given me permission to post both friday and sunday runs for us to watch and learn from. Both runs earned legs towards a Novice title. The second run was a perfect 100 (scoring for CKC is different than CARO) . On the first day, the team lost 4 single points for light leash (can you spot where each occured) so the second day, the handler focussed on keeping the leash loose and it paid off with a perfect score! You'll note that some of the moves in CKC are advanced moves in CARO. Can you tell she is a trainer who uses positive methods with her dog? Thanks to Judge Bill Blair who allowed me to film from the judges tent and who patiently answered several questions from a not-even-competing yet novice!
