I use a technique wherein the tone circuit is removed from the telecaster neck pick up. You may finde a SCHEMATIC from ASK ZAC 157. he explains the process and shows a schematic of the entire process. and one only need have basic soldering skills and a quality solder station. I had to do it twice but I did it right. worked like MISSA ZAC said it would. Everyone else I chatted with were going to buy new and expensive pickups.
