This video stars Claire and Arlo the Cockerpoo who are members of my High Prey Drive Club. When Claire joined the club she was on the verge of rehoming Arlo because of his behaviour around prey. She found him really hard to handle and his Cocker half is working Cocker and he has a lot of their traits. Claire has been working really hard and she sent me this video of him on an evening walk when there was a fox. Arlo is clearly aware of the fox, but he can control himself. He is able to stay calm, he is able to respond to Claire. They were able to leave the field calmly, with Arlo regularly checking in with Claire. Isn't that absolutely amazing? I'm so pleased for both of them.
