We built a DIY basking platform for our red eared slider turtle. Not just any basking dock, but the greatest basking area of all time for our turtle tank. The G.O.A.T. It features a large, carpeted platform for basking with not one, but two egg crate ramps. Why two ramps? The second ramp leads to a separate feeding tank to more easily manage water quality.
