Bethuel Kiplagat's portfolio may have him listed as Kenya's ambassador to France, High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, chairman of the Board of the African Medical and Research Foundation and even special envoy to the Somalia peace process. But the activities of that fateful day back in February 27 years ago have made him to be majorly remembered as the Foreign Affairs PS whose familiarization tour to Wajir saw many men from the Degodia community killed at an airstrip in what later came to be known as the Wagalla massacre. But as the Truth, Justice and Reconciliation Commission continues to probe his alleged involvement back then, we probe into his present, spending time with the 73 year old man and his wife at their home.
