So, a few months ago, I saw this map released as a seemingly fun Crazy+ map; this map was a reference to a Geometry Dash level named Yatagarasu, which you can clearly tell by their names being the same. This being a GD reference was kinda the main reason I played this. Anyways... Experience: 2/10 When I first saw this, I spent like an hour on the map, getting to the first tower section twice before eventually just giving up. This was when Desert Ruins/Monochrex was my hardest, by the way. During the time I had given up, I had managed to beat 2 maps, namely Halcyon || Orange Sector 2.0 and Tempestuous Blizzard, and both of the maps were agreed to be harder than Yatagarasu, and during the time I had spent grinding those two maps, I had forgotten about Yatagarasu. 3 months after the last time I grinded Yatagarasu, I stumbled upon it on a random FE2CM server on Crazyblox’s Discord server. I decided to grind it because it’s easier than Halcyon 2.0. Or so I thought. The thing is, I grinded this map differently than Halcyon 2.0 and TB. Instead of sporadically spending 30-40 minutes a day grinding the map, I spent 2-4 hours per day, which was a bit abnormal for me. Due to this, I spent more time on Yata than Halcyon and TB combined. Failing the first tower or anything before that was extremely demotivating, and failing the parts after that were, too, though a bit less demotivating. I even made it to the final jump, but, unfortunately, I ultimately failed that. It’d continue like that for almost a month. But, fortunately, I have finally beaten the map. Honestly, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had grinding anything in FE2CM. Fun: 3/10 It’s fun at some parts, I guess? Decoration: 5/10 Fits well. Nothing outstanding. Gameplay: 5/10 It’s alright, though the difficulty spike at the end is a bit abnormal. Time taken: ~50 hours harder than tempestuous blizzard and halcyon 2.0 imo
