Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Graphing in Excel with Embedded Phase Change Lines

Hi! I've been trying to improve my graphing for ABA programming as an RBT and prospective BCBA. In May, I attended a workshop at ABAI Boston with Dr. Neil Deochand. He is a whiz with Excel! Dr. Deochand has free material on graphing and shareable templates available on the web-(linked below), which is what this tutorial is based on. He went really fast in class, and being a novice at using Excel, I really had to sit for a few hours and review it all to figure out what he was doing. This video is for people who are having a hard time using Excel in general and have to make graphs for ABA purposes. The two most annoying things I found about graphing with Excel are drawing in phase change lines that move around all the time and trying to input data and move around the graph on the same sheet. He explained some great ways to remedy these which I will share with you. Oh, and I realize I put Number of Initiations as the measurement procedure and was talking about percentages with a ceiling of 100. Wow, 76 mands is alot, lol! I was practicing before I recorded and did a chart with number correct and forgot to make the ceiling 10. Either way, make sure your error bar y-axis is set as the same number as your y-axis ceiling. Happy graphing! Link to Dr. Deochand's YouTube tutorial    • Advanced Behavior Graphing (Part 1)   Dr. Deochand's ResearchGate.net profile https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Neil-...
