Check out my online store for custom colour grading LUTs and stay tuned for much more to come! https://rowe-films.sellfy.store It was a pleasure to work with LUMIX and Atomos again, this time to produce some content for the release of new firmware opening up ProRes RAW to the mighty GH5S. I was lucky enough to get my hands on it a couple of weeks ago now and managed to put together this short film in what was a very very short period of time. I’ve been using the GH5 & GH5S for a few years now, and with this upgrade, the mighty GH5S is even mightier. A huge thanks to the guys at Atomos & LUMIX, for continuing to update their products with killer features. So what’s coming next? Well there’s the GH6 cameras of course. But for me, this update makes the GH5S a strong performer for a few more years yet! For this short film, I decided to go for a filmic, vintage look, to really show the versatility of the set up and demonstrate what can be achieved. I decided to shoot it all on Canon FD vintage lenses, for that lovely character you just don’t get with modern glass. Finishing with FilmConvert, I’m a massive fan of that nostalgic cinema, film-like look. I hope you like the short. Do stay tuned for the BTS feature coming up in the next few days.
