Hello everyone! In today's video I'm showing you how to make a gelli plate at home from scratch. My recipe is for making a large plate that is 10 x 14 inches or 12 x 12 inches. MY RECIPE: 1 litre (4 cups) of water 1 kg (3 1/2 cups) glycerine (Glycerolum 85%) 200 g (20 x 10g packs) of gelatine 1 x 7g packet of preservative for pickled foods - E211 dissolved in 1/4 cup hot water Melt ingredients in a double boiler (or a microwave) gently stirring until you get a homogeneous mixture. Pour into a container (ex. lamington tin) with a perfectly flat bottom. Skim any bubbles and let set overnight.
