Thanks for checking out my Sweet Home Alabama filming locations video. Ironically it was not filmed in Alabama! It was filmed in neighboring Georgia. So the next time someone asks where the Sweet Home Alabama movie locations are, you can throw that bit of trivia at them. I always loved this happy go lucky movie while growing up so it was only natural that I would one day at this to the list of my movie location videos. The locations are spread out in central and northern Georgia with Crawfordville being the location of the small town called Pigeon Creek. Funny thing how the only businesses that were open that day are the ones I needed to see! The bank and the small diner! Stella's Roadside is only a few minutes away and is actually called Heavy's BBQ, pretty popular spot to eat. Unfortunately it was closed the day I was there but at least I was able to walk around the outside! Enjoy the video and check out some of my other videos below.
