One Day In Pattaya - Thailand Travel Tips - Chapter 6

This chapter covers our 1 day in Pattaya city. We stayed at the Hotel Glow, Pattaya. Our first stop was for a late lunch at Patrick’s Steakhouse. This is an excellent place for lunch . The food is a bit expensive out here. Then we wanted to explore the city . As. It’s a one day program we decided to first check out the Big Buddha . We took a Grab can for the trip . I would recommend you to download two apps - Grab and Indrive . Both are great apps. If you are travelling with your family the can works out fine. Otherwise go for Grab or Indrive Bike Taxi. The Big Buddha was great. There are few stairs out there. But the view of the city and the sea is great from the Big Buddha. Then we went for the Jomtien Beach in a Grab Cab. This is a beautiful location. Ideally you should be here before sunset. We were a bit late. But you can relax out here with a drink or just go for a stroll. It’s a good place to spend time out here. We took a Grab Cab from there and went to Central Festival Mall. This is a massive mall facing the sea beach . There are 7 floors in this mall . You can spend half a day here if you have the time. The sale out here is good. The mall opened in 2009 . The same year we visited in the month of October. We explored the mall and then headed for Terminal 21 Mall. This is again a big quality mall. We didn’t go to explore the mall or make a video. We went there for dinner in Chutney . Indian Veg Restaurant. It was late the the restaurant was closing down. The manager refused to serve food . So then we took a Grab Cab and went to Central Pattaya Road where you have quite a few Indian restaurants. We finally spotted Govindam as it was quite clean . We enjoyed our veg Indian dinner out here. The food was tasty and the price was reasonable. We were tired as we were travelling from the morning and we wanted to wind up for the day. So we went back to our hotel. I had a plan to visit the Walking Street late at night . So wait for the next video - A Walking Tour in the night life area of Pattaya.
