In partnership with Canon Australia, Lisa Wilkinson has released the never-seen-before interviews with the subjects of her Women of Influence photographic exhibition from 2016. Gretel Packer - ‘The Passionate Philanthropist’ Businesswoman, philanthropist and arts patron Gretel Packer is the driving force behind the $200 million charitable fund, the National Philanthropic Fund, which focuses on Indigenous education, community welfare and arts. The Australian Indigenous Mentoring Experience (AIME) is one of six Indigenous education programs selected as a recipient of the fund, and believes mentoring “is an opportunity for young people to form friendships and relationships across divides that might not otherwise be crossed.” Daughter to the late media icon Kerry Packer, Gretel is also Chair of the Crown Resorts Advisory Board, trustee of the Sydney Theatre Company Foundation, patron of the Taronga Zoo Foundation and a Board member of the Art Gallery of NSW.
