Originally released in 2008 by now-defunct Vendlus Records, the White is the last installment of two companion releases & the stylistic counterpart to the Grey. This remastered re-issue includes the rare track “Where Shade Once Was”. The ‘White’ showcases Agalloch at their most pastoral – gentle acoustic guitars, piano, and field samples combine to create an absorbing, affecting neofolk soundtrack to obscure midsummer rituals in the depths of the wilderness.
