Posting this video nice and early today! I know, it's like, crazy or something! I just really want to give this level the attention it deserves as this one has one of my favourite songs from the entire Mega Man classic series. Likely still in my top 5! The stage itself is quite unique for a fortress stage, too, with the light related gimmicks and a whole new type of platform to learn how to traverse. The stage even has two significant boss battles in it! Plus with the way the beginning of the stage looks, and the overall theme... I love this stage! First up when it comes to bosses is Bass... and he is MUCH more annoying this time! Charge shots seem to work best on him, but what you need to do is keep your distance from him. If he lands directly beside you, there is an extremely high chance you will have no way to avoid being shot. This battle ends up looking rather neat as both of you are basically bouncing about the room like a couple of monkies blasting at each other. Definitely one of the harder bosses to avoid getting pegged by in this game. Just note, Protoshield does NOT work. Bass's shots will pierce right through! Next up is the upgraded Guts Man! He is weak to... Slash Claw of all things, but not in the way you would expect! Gutsy summons down much larger rocks than before... and you can effortlessly smack them into his face with the Slash Claw! He has one attack where he tries to grab you that you need to keep shooting him to keep him away... I find spamming the Slash Claw works best here... the buster never seems to work well enough due to the bullets taking time to bounce off-screen.... Enjoy!~
