Can I Walk from Lesce-Bled Station to Lake Bled?

Can I walk from Lesce-Bled Station to Lake Bled? Did I make it to Lake Bled or get lost along the way. In December of 2023, I visited Slovenia’s famous Lake Bled. Due to rail line construction, I was only able to take the train to Lesce-Bled Staton, which is about a 4.5-kilometer walk from Lake Bled. Rather than wait 40 minutes for a bus, I decided to walk the 4.5 kilometers. What should have been about an hour's walk became much longer due to a detour. The detour added about another two to three kilometers to the walk and involved climbing some steep hills. It took me just over 90 minutes to make the walk from Lesce-Bled Station to the shores of Lake Bled. To walk from Lesce-Bled Station to Lake Bled, follow the signs marked “Bled.” When you get to the detour, follow the arrow. There are multiple detour signs along the way. For those not interested in walking from Lesce-Bled Station to Lake Bled, there are a few options. You can take the bus from Lecse-Bled Station to Lake Bled or take the train to the closest train station named Bled. There are also buses from most of Slovenia’s major cities to the Bled Bus Station. The bus station is located about 300 meters from the shores of Lake Bled. To learn more about my walk from Lesce-Bled Station to Lake Bled, visit my website: https://buzzinaroundtheworld.com/walk...
