For example, the Barnes & Noble Press self publishing service specification guide specifies image resolution as "DPI". It is important that new photographers know of this longstanding convention to communicate with designers, offset printing services, and professional photographers. In this video when I'm taking about dpi, it means the same thing as ppi. I've made many prints with this high process for years, and continue to be astounded with the quality it produces. This process also works for Epson printers, up to about 720ppi.
