In just five days, you’ll learn performance pieces in four different dance disciplines (at least). Our Maryland "home" is the Oldfields School (OS), located about 30 minutes from Baltimore. The campus is big enough to contain everything for a stimulating dance camp experience, and small enough to feel like home. Parents, you'll be happy to know that Oldfields is a Certified Maryland Green School and is accredited with the Association of Independent Maryland Schools (AIMS), Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools (MSA), National Coalition of Girls Schools (NCGS) and the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). At ADTC in Maryland, you'll participate in four one-hour dance classes each weekday, Monday through Friday. Classes are taught by our professional dance choreographers. Elective dance classes include ballet (beginning or intermediate), tap and world dance (examples may be Latin, Afro, Capoeira, Bollywood, etc). No matter what your dance level or background, our dance curriculum is designed to challenge you. You'll be organized into groups by age and ability so you can learn at an appropriate speed. And there's a lot more than dance happening at American Dance Training Camps! At ADTC in Sparks Glencoe, MD you can enjoy awesome activities like stand-up paddle board, paintball, horseback riding, beach trip, kayaking, girl's night out, zip lining & more!
