Translation by me. Annotations: "Are you, who is wearing me, a god?" - "Wearing" as in how a hat is worn. Pulled over from the top. The same word is used as in 人間を被る (ningen o kaburu, "wearing human [skin]"). "Tomorrow you still won't be SID" - 明日も (lit. "tomorrow too") is often used in DEG's songs and so far I've been translating it as either "tomorrow again" or "tomorrow too", but I always feel it sounds a little bit clumsy in English that way, doesn't it? This time I took a step back and translated "too" as the underlying "still" (since "tomorrow too" implies that something is the same as yesterday and today etc.). "He doesn't have that in his chest" - Note that "that" being in italics in this case does not mean that it was in English already, which is how I usually use italics, but for emphasis. "Chest" could be "heart" (they're often used interchangeably), but then again since there's a chance that "that" is referring to the heart itself, I kept it as the literal "chest" as to not rule that possible interpretation out. Also note that the language in this line is very masculine and colloquial, it could be considered rude. "How does being devoured by temptation make you a corpse?" - See this as somewhat of a rhetorical question implying disagreement. (The same as for example, "How does having a degree make you a better person?!". The speaker is not really looking for an answer, but shows disagreement with the proposition.) --------------- I do not own Dir En Grey or any of their music or performances.
