I saw the Queen Mother of Bhutan while flying from Sikkhim to Bhutan. Her Royal Highness was seated just a few rows in front of me on the plane. I was flying on Drukair- Royal Bhutan Airlines. There are four queens of Bhutan’s most celebrated monarch His Majesty the Fourth King Jigme Singye Wangchuck. The King of Bhutan, Jigme Singye Wangchuck, had four wives, all of whom were entitled to be called queen.
