Well, at least for us, this converted Mercedes G-Wagon turned out to be more capable than we could have ever imagined. Not only is it road legal in Germany, but it is also able to handle all types of terrain, like blizzards, very deep rivers, high winds, and keeps you comfortable the entire time. The interior cabin has hot water for showers, a bathroom, an electric induction stovetop, a fridge, two separate bed options, and massive amounts of storage for tools, food, and clothing. Plus, there are two solar panels mounted on the roof, and the 180ah Lithium battery can also be charged while driving, so you're never low on power. I don't think we've ever seen a van build so luxurious and functional, every single detail has been perfectly planned and executed. This beast is named "Gregor," and we got the opportunity to test him out for two weeks in Iceland thanks to Lou's cousin Tim and his wife Rike, who had him built by the pros at ORC.
