Working with my mining partners in gathering the history, Dr. Federico Pezzotta in better understanding the geology, Bryan Swoboda in making the film and Wendell Wilson in writing the Mineralogical Record issue, my vision of telling the whole story began to take shape. For the past five years we have been working on accurately documenting this story and sharing the details of what I experienced and witnessed at this mine. These intimate details are known by so few, as collectors only see part of the story when they come to shows or they visit with me. Happily, now they can have a more complete perspective of the mine and share with me in what has become so ingrained in my life - the amazing Pederneira Mine.” - Daniel Trinchillo, 2015 This film was originally released as a DVD bundled with the Jan/Feb 2015 issue of the Mineralogical Record - The Pederneira issue. BlueCap Productions continues to enjoy this wonderful partnership with the Mineralogical Record to bring our films, for free, to the mineral-collecting public. SPECIAL NOTE: We are releasing this film so that it is FREE to the public via YouTube. This is in reaction to the current new Coronavirus pandemic that is sweeping the world. So in this time of self-isolation, we at BlueCap Productions wanted to try and provide at least a little relief to the mineral collecting community with this free copy of this film. Please enjoy and be safe.
