Oh yeah, the OG is back! On this LAUNCH vs LAST, we take a look at the original Xbox comparing some of its launch titles to its final games. The OG Xbox saw its release in North America in late 2001, and other regions in early '02. This episode pulls titles mostly from the NA launch, with an exception. The original Xbox was the first of its generation to receive a successor with the Xbox 360 releasing in 2005, and thus, it felt as though the system had lost its staying power a tad faster than the Gamecube and nowhere near the longevity we saw with the PS2. Many of the Xbox's final titles came out in early 2006, with very few releases in 2007 (mostly sports games and licensed stuff). Want to support the channel?
