From the moment I was gifted this very old and precious Chopin’s book - I felt inspired to learn a new piece. And if you’ve been following me for a while, you already know how much I enjoy a PRACTICE CHALLENGE! It keeps me focused and excited 😊 After listening to various beautiful Chopin’s compositions, the one that immediately took my breath away and got my attention was… Waltz Op. 64 no.2! It certainly is one of the more popular waltzes and I can see why - it is full of character and it’s ABSOLUTELY MAGICAL ✨ Over the next 14 days, I will be showing up at the piano for 25/30 minutes daily, filming my journey along. On day 14 - I will attempt to perform the full piece all in one go (no editing, just one raw clip)… I hope this ‘unfiltered’ practice documentary inspire you to practice and not give up on your dreams.
