What's Great is the Apple Watch still stays paired to G7, if you just simply shut off the iPhone, wait 15 Minutes, and Pair with Android. I've can confirm now, I've made it through the entire 10.5 day lifespan of dexcom g7 with zero issues. This Works Flawlessly for me, as long as I use the 15 minute wait time (Rule) when I'm switching between phone devices. I would never turn on both iPhone and Android phone at the same time as it would most likely cause problems. But with that said, use at your own risk. 1. I only use the CHEAP iPhone se 3rd to start and stop sensors and connect to watch. Then I will leave the iPhone in my backup carry bag, to be used in the event I run out of battery on my Android. I would still wait 15 minutes before booting up iPhone. 2. After setting up iPhone, and Android Phone with CGM. Both phones retain memory of Current G7 CGM. So if you turn off the Android Phone and Wait for 15 minutes, then turn back on your iPhone, it will automatically connect and continue the current sensor. In my opinion, all of this workaround silliness would have been avoided if Dexcom Developed the Watch App Software allowing the user to manually input a pairing code on the Apple Watch. What a Shame, as most Android Users will not be able to afford to spend $$$ on a phone they will never use. DISCLAIMER: This video is not medical advice.
