How to Filter by Month in MS Access Queries, Forms, and Reports

Filtering a form or report by month is a common request, because users don't want to have to go and select the individual days for the start and end of a particular period. It is much easier to select just a year-month combination for the start and end of our search than it is to select individual dates. In this video, I show one of the more common methods of creating a "monthly" based search criteria for forms and reports. We'll create start and end combo boxes, load them with available selections, then let users choose those to filter not just our form, but also a reports that we launch on the same data.
